Tungsten Heavy alloy

Tungsten Heavy alloy (W-22Fe33Ni)

Tungsten is a heavy metal alloy, also called hard metal. With density superior to 17.5g/cm3 it combines the great hardness and strength of tungsten carbide with the toughness and plasticity of its metallic alloy binders.

Tungsten alloys are used in a wide range of applications, including the aerospace and automotive industries and radiation shielding. They are also used to manufacture cutting and mining products, such as drill bits, high-speed cutting tools, lathe tools and milling cutters.
