The purpose of the Elasto-Plast project is to familiarize companies with the range of options thermoplastic elastomers (TPE’s) provide to enhance the processability and properties of conventional polymers.
Furthermore, new TPE’s with additional functionalities, such as shape memory, conductivity, impact modification, ductility under pressure … will be developed during the Elasto-Plast project.
The applicability of TPE’s in innovative processing techniques (additive manufacturing) and in high-performance textile and plastic applications will be investigated.
The integrated, innovative, cross-border approach of this project will make it possible to transfer the in the ILogo GoToS3NTERREG FWVL acquired knowledge to the companies, in order that their opportunities can be fully valorized.
