Manufactured with pam o2, this air intake is made of PEI, a material exhibiting high performances, especially for its exceptional mechanical, thermal and electrical properties at high temperature. Also PEI plastic features similar characteristics to the polyarylsulphones (PSU, PPSU, PESU), while simultaneously offering significant advantages.

This part is a good illustration of the contribution of additive manufacturing to the production of complex parts. It is produced in a single block and features several internal ducts.

It is one of the components found in the new generation of material cartridges developed by Pollen AM. These cartridges enable the materials they contain to be continuously dried, thus limiting the amount of moisture absorbed by the pellets.
